Situated in an enchanting position overlooking the golf course and the Alpilles mountains it is shaded from the bright midsummer sun by mature, scented umbrella pine and cedar. You'd be hard pressed to find a more relaxing place to enjoy a glass or two of the local wine.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is known for its antiques stores and weekend markets, waterwheels on the Sorgue river and the Collégiale Notre Dame des Anges, a baroque church with superb frescoes.
Fontaine-de-Vaucluse ("spring of Vaucluse") is an easy 45 minute walk along the carpentras canal. It's built around the Fontaine de Vaucluse, a spring in a valley at the foot of the Vaucluse Mountains, between Saumane and Lagnes. It is named after the spring, the source of the River Sorgue.
Gordes is a beautiful hilltop village on the western edge of the Luberon national park. The residents are known as Gordiens! Just around the corner you'll find the most famous lavender fields in Provence, at the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque
Avignon, the capital of Vaucluse is one of the few French cities to have preserved its ramparts. Between 1309 and 1377 seven successive popes resided in Avignon, Papal control persisted until 1791 and the French Revolution, when it became part of France.
Marseilles & the Riviera; less than an hour by car (or train) to Marseille and its Vieux-Port (Old Port), surrounded by great restaurants, here you'll find fishmongers selling their catching along the boat lined quay, it's as fresh as you'll get.
